Hello there, nice to meet you! Glad you get here… i’d like to tell you a bit more about myself:
My name is Dario Laurita, i was born in 1990 in Potenza, a small city in Basilicata, Southern Italy.
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been passionate about everything related to art, in general, from painting to sculpture, to the shape and geometry of things. I loved painting and creating new objects by plastering and dirtying my hands.
It was not difficult to choose my university path, based on these passions
I graduated in 2013 in Industrial Design at Polytechnic of Turin and i got a second master degree in Ecodesign in 2016, again at the Poytechnic.
At the same time as I was at university, I began to cultivate new interests and new passions never before discovered. I gradually began to approach the world of design, architecture and two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphics, as well as 3D printing and open source culture, which fascinated me right from the start.
I have begun to cultivate these passions trying to make them my job.
Thanks to my first experiences in the studio and as a freelancer I was able to improve my skills and abilities, refining them day by day.
I love creating things, from physical objects to computer graphics, I’m curious by nature and I always try to inform myself and discover new ways of dealing with obstacles.
I like learning and I’m always ready to make new experiences. I love traveling and getting to know new cultures, from all points of view, and comparing myself with people.
